This is a lovely vintage glass "Hen on a Nest" by Westmoreland Glass. The white milk glass nest measures 3 1/2 in. long x 2 1/2 in. wide and is 1 1/4 in. high. With the hen on it, the entire piece measures 3 in. high. This particular hen on nest is unusual because the blue hen is satin glass and the nest is white milk glass. I have seen only a few of these with the two types of glass in antique stores. This one was given to me as a gift quite a few years ago. It is in pristine condition and still retains the blue & gold Westmoreland sticker inside the nest. The hen is a slightly lighter blue color than the picture shows.
