Beautiful Vintage WHIRLAWAY Fishing Rod Reel Combo NICE This is a Very nice WHIRLAWAY fishing rod & reel combo made by Great Lakes Products Detroit, Mich - the reel works great. This is the Whirlaway model w the reel pivots from the side to the rear for casting - very neat! The reel has a chrome or nickel plate finish that is very shiny and shows no dents, scratches, or other notable marks. The rod is unique as it is square at the base and rounds midway down towards the end - it is a one-piece rod with 4 eyes in good condition - rod is 66" long from butt of reel to tip. Ready to be re-spooled with line for your next outing or put it on display with your collection to admire - either way it's a real gem. We will invoice for shipping charges including postage and any special packing material needed.
