This is an elegant straight sided cup and saucer made by Wileman, the predecessor to Shelley China Co. The cup has a ring handle with gold on it and both pieces have gold on the rims. They are decorated with a bell flower garland, rose wreaths and blue ribbons. They are in perfect undamaged condition. The cup which is either a coffee can or a demitasse is 2 & 1/2" tall and the saucer is 4 & 3/4" across. Both are in lovely undamaged condition and are marked on the base with the old Wileman marks. Both pieces ping well when tapped.
