Vintage 1940's WW 2 era US United States Army Air Force AAF 288 leather helmet, flight cap or flying cap marked on the inside label "Medium, Contract Number NXSA-36914, Slote & Klein". The outer rubber covering around the ear opening is marked with the model number "AN-48440-1". The WWII flight helmet is in very good to excellent condition. The chamois leather lining is in great shape. All the snaps, buckles, straps, etc. are t $8.00 postage.
