Description This auction is for a stunning original WWII era U.S. NAVY OFFICER CEREMONIAL SWORD. The sword has not been personalized. This beautiful sword is made for N. S, Meyer USA by the world famous sword maker TOLEDO of Spain, with the STAR OF DAMASCUS on the ricasso, the guarantee that it is a genuine issue sword and not a copy. The quality is superior with stunning beautiful detailed handsome scroll work on the blade, the US Defence Department now contracts their Swords to India and Taiwan, to save money, so invest in the finest quality. This piece comes with its original knot attached to the handle. It also has its original leather carrying case Made by Hilborn Hamburger inc (it is labeled to prevent tarnish) and t is a second cloth wrap that you first put on the sword before placing it in the leather carrying case (this is marked Meyer New York). This item has been well cared for and is a rare find worthy of any militaria collection.
