This vintage Zuni or Hopi Native American sterling silver cuff bracelet is set with a natural oval cabochon turquoise showing the warm bronze matrix with the green-tinged stone. The front of the cuff has two applied thunderbirds flanking the turquoise which, in turn, is set in a beaded frame. The stamped design on the cuff's sides depicts more thunderbirds ("the Sacred Bearer of Unlimited Happiness") as well as life-giving rain clouds. The bracelet is 1 1/8" high and has an inner diameter of 2 ¼" (it can be adjusted up or down a little to suit). The artist did not sign their name on this distinctive cuff which does test as sterling silver.
