This auction is for a violin maker's template that apparently was used to outline the shape of the face plates for a violin. The wood is very light so I would guess pine or cedar. No markings to identify the owner unfortunately. I believe this came from NY estate somew about 40 years ago & I would guess this is at least 19th C. if not earlier. Let the pictures be your guide. Please check out my other auctions for more antique tools and unusual items. I'm back from summer vacation & back to selling off a 25+ year collection of antique tools among other unique and unusual things. Thanks fer lookin'! International Bidders: All International bidders must have a feedback of 50 or better & I reserve the right to cancel bids if I feel the risk is too high. This is because Paypal does not protect me from chargebacks if I send to a foreign country. Thanks Paypal. I always try to keep shipping down & will combine shipping to save you money whenever possible. Insurance is required for all international bidders & My Lord, this all sounded so easy in the brochure...
