Made in Western Germany Advent Calendar Kruger 854/1 Estate sale find...a series of advent calendars beginning in 1961. The mother would write the date on each and store away each year. Up for auctions are the following dates: 1961 1962, 1964, 1966, 1967, 1971 Open each door on the corresponding day of December. Behind each door is small surprise picture. This calendar previously used once. Doors have been opened. The 1971 calendar is tall. Has angels, children, gingerbread house, lots of cookies and candy... woodland creatures, a white Christmas tree ... Mica glitter accents. Measures: 16 3/4 inches tall and 7 3/4 inches wide. Stamped on the back: Made by Kruger in Western Germany, No. 854/1 Condition: Excellent. No damages. Color and mica bright. Has pin holes on top edge for posting on a bulletin board.
