Voigtlander Kontur 24x36 35mm Viewfinder for 50mm Lens This is a rather unique Voigtlander accessory from the 1950's. The principle involved is that when mounted on your camera, looking through this ocular, allows you to see better framing / frame lines than by looking through the smaller ocular eyepieces of the 1950s. While Zeiss tried to achieve the same thing with their Albada finders, I think Voigtlander's solution was a tad more unique... and has much better longevity that the Zeiss solution! Ones does need to keep BOTH eyes open when looking through this unit.... kind of weird as so many of us are used to closing one eye when taking pictures.... so you kinda have to force yourself to keep both eyes open. What's really weird is the view you then achieve by looking through this device. Your brain actually does the seeing by putting what you see through the unit and the general view of the other eye together into a frame. This came from a recently closed camera store from which I purchased a great deal of stock. Please see my other auctions for more from this same deal. . If you have any questions or need further pictures of an item PLEASE ASK.High bidder to pay $5.00 US shipping in the US or Canada. WE DO SHIP INTERNATIONALLY - PLEASE ASK FOR QUOTE Please Note: I will combine shipping on multiple items to save you money.
