It was a premium that could be bought from the Ralston Purina Company in the 1930's. Ralston sponsored the Tom Mix radio show. Tom Mix was a movie cowboy character from 1910 to 1935. The Tom Mix radio show ran from 1933 to 1950. One side of the gun reads: Ralston Straight Shooters The other side reads: Tom Mix This gun is about 9" long. The barrel tilts forward and the cylinder spins. The only damage is where part of the hammer is missing.
