VTG 1954 Soap Box Derby Helmet 17 Years Sportsmanship Chevrolet Fisher Akron Please see all of the pictures below. We have helmets from 1952 through 1956. Up for auction is a 1954 Soap Box Derby Helmet sponsored by Fisher Body (plant in Cleveland Ohio) … Chevrolet. The derby has been held in Akron, Ohio since 1935. The helmet is a darker royal blue, but the flash lightens the color. It is in pretty nice vintage condition. Please check out the pictures. If you have any questions, please let us know.
