For your consideration is this LARGE Set called MISSILE ATTACK. I'm selling a lot of boys toys from the late 50's through early 60's and found this set in the boxes. It was made exclusively for W. T. Grant No. 301183 and says it has 39 pieces, but it could be more were added. The men look like MPC, so the set may have been made by that company. I'm not sure. I do have the ORIGINAL BOX, but it's in sad shape. Not so much wrecked but with lots of stains, looks like it got wet, and it's dirty etc. OK, first the men/soldiers. There are 10 and all are blue and in a seated position. They measure 55mm tall, and they are all in a seated position. They do have some weapons and equipment. Many of their guns are a gold color. There is a RED JEEP which has a #4 underneath. The wheels are all there, but two need to be pushed more onto the axles. (I don't want to break anything). It measures 6 1/4" long. There is a RED BOAT with missile launcher attached. The missile holder can be off or on the boat. The boat also has seating for two soldiers. It measures 9 1/4" long. There is a GREEN COVERED TRUCK which measures 7 1/2" long. It only has 2 wheels, and the short axle is broken off one side, but maybe can be used for parts or repaired.
