Vintage 1978 BATTLESTAR GALACTICAMini-Action Figures*** Colonial Viper, missile-firing*** This is a 1978 BATTLESTAR GALACTICA missile-firing Colonial Viper, 8 1/4" long, includes one missile. Used; Fair/Good condition overall. Specifics: Missile firing mechanism works perfectly (fires over 5'). No pilot included. Viper has no broken or missing parts, however there is moderate to heavy wear over the entire piece. A few stickers are missing (see photos). There are some discolorations along the glue seams, some other scuffs and smudges. The wheels and cockpit work fine. The wings are loose in their up and down movement (though completely firmly attached) - you can see in the upside down photo the wings lay down by gravity. I do not know if they originally were firm at all positions. The main joint between the fuselage and engine assembly has a slight play to it and I would be careful not to stress it there, though it is not broken or visibly cracked at all.(I would add that this is a rare case where I think the photos make the viper look cleaner and whiter than it really does. The plastic has a bit more age to it than the photos show I think, just to be fair.
