Very cool, old fabric panel. The salvage edge clearly printed Tanforan A Hand Print (slide 4). Purchased decades ago at the Tanforan Race Track. The print includes a large silhouette of a horse with many smaller dark green horses in various active poses playing and running around a track with gates and locks. The fabric does not look or feel like cotton bark-cloth, but the design would come from that era. The fabric looks and feels like a silk weave or a blend with some rayon. This fabric was once a drapery panel. It has evidence of stitching up the sides, top, and bottom. We are selling in as found condition. Please see slides 5 and 6 to see the differences in color and age patina on this panel. We have not cleaned this panel, and it will need to be cleaned before use. This fabric measures 51 inches wide and 74 inches long. This fabric has been carefully packaged, and it is ready to ship from our smoke free, pet free home to the winning bidder.
