Vintage Fez with an ornate decoration on the front that reads "AL BAHR PRES 1980 RADOPS". RADOPS is the Amateur Radio & Astrophysics club. Fez measures 22 1/4" around the inside which translates to Size 7 1/8. Made out of burgundy colored, 100% wool with a leather hat band. Has a long tassel that attaches at the top of the hat it hangs about 20" (17" is tassel and about 3" the tassel tie). There are 4 loops of rhinestones at the top of the tassel, and a really nice 2 1/2" long camel rhinestone pin all holding the tassel to the hat. The label is from Wolf-Brown Inc of Los Angeles, California. It comes with a black, zippered, hard shell, vinyl storage case with a tag from Anthony Nizzardini Masonic Supply of New York City. The case has the the crescent and scimitar logo on the top. We found it at an estate sale in San Diego, California. Fez and case together weigh 2 1/4 pounds. Condition: A few scrapes on the case and other, minimal, normal, general signs of age and use. There is a name tag on the case and a name tag inside the fez. All of the rhinestones are present. Has the addition of a very nice rhinestone loop and camel pin holding the tassel. Both case and fez are in very good condition. All questions are welcomed. Thank you for looking.
