You are Bidding On an Absolutely Incredible Vintage Birdseye Maple Grained Walnut Highboy Chest of Drawers - Dresser! This Handsome Piece has the Most Stunning Birdseye Maple on the Top - Even the Front Drawers and Sides are Maple with a Great Little Patina from the past 50 or so years! The Chest looks like it has 8 Drawers but it actually has 4 but Biy are the Drawers Ever Deep! The legs are Bracket Style and are Super Sturdy!The Chest is a Perfect Apartment Sized and is Narrow Enough to Fit into the Smallest of Areas! You can literally have a TON of Storage with just 32 inches of Available Space with its Four (4) Cavernous Drawers! The Style is Absolutely Classic MidCentury Modern with Handsome Clean Lines and Bracket Feet! The Top is flat panel with Gently Curved edges onn the Front and Sides! The Chest dates to around the 1950s - 1960s and is Super Sturdy and Well Constructed with Tongue and Groove Construction with Side Sliders to keep the drawers from Sagging or from Falling Forward! The Highboy retains its All Original Shiny Brass Half Loop Drawer Pulls with Classic Federal Style Back Plates. The Drawer pulls are All Original and They Are All There Too! The Chest is either American or English made but the only Maker's Mark that we could find was "900" on the back. Okay we know, not very helpful but still very cool to have something to research. One thing is for Sure, the Chest is Extremely Well made and is Absolutely Stunning! Just look at the Pictures! This Handsome Chest measures a Full 42 inches in Height, 32 inches in Width by 18 and 1/8 inches from Front-to-Back at the Widest Point. All 4 Drawers are Quality Tongue and Groove Constructed! The Top "Socks ad Underwear" Drawer measures 26 and 1/4 inches in Width, 13 and 1/2 inches from Front-to-Back by 2 and 3/4 inches in Depth. All of the 3 Lower Drawers each measure a Full 26 and 1/4 inches in Width, 13 and 1/2 inches from front-to-Back by a Cavernous 8 inches in Depth. Definitely No Shortage of Storage with this Chest! The Height and the Handy Storage makes it Perfect for use in any Bedroom of Guest Room for an Instant Clothes or Linen Storage Space!
