I recently obtained a collection of oil cans which I will be listing on eBay. Some of these cans will be sold individually and others in lots. Some of these have been cleaned and others have not. Many of these are miniature tin oilers or oil cans but several are larger. I have one Ford, one Singer, several Eagle, one I think may be a Mobil and others. The smaller ones were used to oil guns, fishing reels, sewing machines and numerous other items. I can save on shipping for multiple purchase. View photos and provided description of what is included in each lot. This is Lot # 3 and it is for a miniature pump oiler. This measures 7 1/8” long, 2 1/4” high and 1 5/8” wide. This has a brass cap and a pump button on the top and a finger loop in the rear. Spout measures 3 1/2” long. Oiler shows almost no signs of dings or dents. This has a bright finish with almost no visible rust. There are signs of some red paint residue which shows it may have been painted red at some point but most is gone. Pumps appears to work well and condition is good all around. I believe this oiler may have been a Mobil Oil Company oiler that no longer has its labels. I found an oiler which has the same dimensions and features as this one in my David Moncrief Guide to Small Oilers book, page 75.
