For auction is a very nice porcelain pancake set featuring bands of gold decorated with gold moriage and heavy wheat patterning that runs around the white dome cover and plate. T is a little wear evident on the handle above the steam vent. A beautiful addition to your Nippon collection or your fine china collection. The piece is marked with the green Morimura Brothers: M in wreath. Hand Painted, Nippon Dish measures: a LARGE 9" in diameter; the lid at the bottom is 6" in diameter and the overall height to the top of the finial is 4". Beautiful on the table, useful to serve mini muffins and English Muffins as well as pancakes. Hard to find an 80 year old serving piece in this excellent condition!
