Vintage unsigned Iridescent Art Glass Easter Egg by OBG (Ornamental Blown Glass Studios) of Lynwood, WA. Circa early 1990's. This is a Gorgeous Iridescent Art Glass Egg with a crackle finish. It is a Light Blue, Teal Glass with Iridescent Gold, Pink and Purple surface. A beautiful & evenly balanced piece! Size : approx. 3 inches tall by 1 7/8 inches in diameter. Condition: Very good with a - no visible wear. Weight: Approx. 8 ounces prior to packaging.A little about OBG Glass:Ornamental Blown Glass or "OBG" was a hot glass blowing studio located in Lynwood, WA, (just outside of Seattle) - that has had some very well known artists on their staff over the years, mostly as they have been coming up and before going out on their own. Some of them are listed here:Mariusz Rynkiewicz: Now a famous glass blower, Mariusz rynkiewicz accepted a position of gaffer at Ornamental Blown Glass. He worked there from 1989 thru 1995. During this period, Mariusz looked for ways to further develop his glass-blowing artistry. In 1992, he studied with Dante Marioni at the Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, WA and a year later, with Lino Tagliapietra at Pratt Fine Art center in Seattle.
