Up for auction is a VINTAGE HULL or AMERICAN BISQUE POTTERY POLKA DOT PIG PIGGY "DIME BANK". Sooo cute !!! This bank is referred to as a dime bank and the employees of the Hull Company proved they held $75.00 in dimes. Trust me it is a dime bank because it had some coins in it and the nickels and quarters were very hard to get out. They would only fit through the top slot. Probably made inthe 1950's or 1940's. I do not know the exact time period. This small bank measures approximately 3 1/2" tall x 3 1/4" wide x 5 3/4" long. EXCELLENT to MINT CONDITION. No chips, cracks, breaks, repairs or crazing. I have taken several photos to help with the description and condition. Most ALL of the COLD PAINT is intact. Please view all photos. The original cork is up inside of the piggy. It is unmarked. I saw one just like this sell as Hull for a good deal of money but a fellow EBayer told me it is American Bisque. ? I just purchase this at a TRUE estate sale. The only reason I am parting with it is because I already have one. Yes I know lucky me and you because this small dime bank is on the RARE side of Hull piggy banks. If you have any questions please ask. Thanks !! Kelly
