Vtg Shabby Metal ROYAL COACH CARRIAGE Chic Trinket Box Thank-you for considering this beautiful box. I honestly don't know what it is for or what it is made of. This is quite heavy and looks as if it could be cast iron with an overlay but I cannot be sure. The bottom looks as if it had a plate or cover that is now missing and the only mark is the number 699 or 669 depending on how you look at it. This actually is very pretty and would make lovely accent piece. Any help with identification would be appreciated. The coach measures 5" long, 3 1/2" tall, and 2 1/2" wide.
