VIRGA HI-HEEL 'TEEN FASHIONS 100 SERIES HC-102 BRIDESMAID The Virga Hi-Heel 'Teen Doll was an 8 inch hard plastic jointed walking doll made by Beehler Arts, Ltd.of New York City in the mid 1950's. The Virga line also included Play Mates and Lollypop Dolls. Beehler also marketed the same doll as Kim, and made Go-Go, Tu-Tu, and Chi-Chi, which were designed by Elsa Schiaparelli. These outfits should fit any of the 7 1/2 to 8 inch hard plastic fashion dolls ( Ginny, Muffie, Pam, Madame Alexander dolls, etc.) with the exception of the shoes, which are specifically made for "high heeled" feet . I will be listing 12 different outfits, so be sure to check back if there is a particular one you are looking for. I am always happy to combine shipping. The outfits are in their original boxes. I doubt they were removed from the boxes prior to my taking them out for the photos. Each outfit comes with a pair of high heel shoes that match it. The shoes fasten to the feet by locking the two halves across the top of the foot making a decorative bow. The clothing is not tagged in any way. The outfits have a round snap fastener located on the back of the dresses. This listing is for the Bridesmaid outfit which is given the stock number HC-102 on the box. The outfit consists of a pink on pink print dress, a lace net hat, a flower bouquet with ribbons, a pair of white panties with lace trim, and a pair of pink high heel shoes. The dress is the same as the Bridal (see my other listing) except in pink. The clothing is in very good, unused condition. The snap is located on the back of the dress and it works well. The only condition issues are from contact with the cardboard packaging. They were not meant to be in their packages for nearly 60 years! There is some minor yellowing of the white panties, and there are a few pinpoint darkened spots on the lower hem of the dress. The box is in good condition with no tears or crushing. There is toning of some of the white areas resulting in darkening. There is an area in the upper corner that has the printing missing, probably from a removed sticker. There is some minor scuffing along the edges and at the corners. The cellophane is intact and attached. There are no musty or other objectionable smells. Please use the "enlarge" and "zoom" features to examine the photos. THE FINE PRINT: Payment by Paypal is required within 72 hours of auction closing. Your item will be shipped within 1 business day of receipt of cleared payment. I must collect sales tax from sales to New York State residents.
