VTG WORKING CHARMIN CHATTY DOLL MATTEL #290 WITH RECORDS ORIGINAL BOX & GAME Hello, Up for auction is a wonderful doll that is sure to bring many happy memories back. This is a "Charmin Chatty" doll. She was made by Mattel in 1963 and is numbered #290. This Charmin Chatty doll is in wonderful working form. Her speaker sounds are crisp and fresh. She is in very good condition. Her face is still soft and supple. Her hair is a platinum blond with deep blond streaks. She has lightly blushed cheek and her pretty blue eyes open and close with ease. She measures in at 24" tall. She will come to you wearing her original sailor outfit (please note that her sailor top does have some bluing on it from the ties) , socks and shoes. Her shoes have discolored from age. She will come to you with 6 records total, (one is for the board game she comes with.) The names of the records are "Good", "Famous", "Poems", "Proverbs", Scarey", "Animal Noises", "Get Acquainted 1 and 2", "Mother", "Ridiculous", "Skate and slide", "At the Fair" (the last two are for the game). The board game is played with Chatty. The board is reversible so it is two games in one. This lovely doll will come with her original box which does have shelf wear, please refer to pictures.
