This anvil was used on a farm in the upper great lakes region of Minnesota. I don't know much about this anvil other than arm & hammer is the manufacturer. It was found stored in an old shop on a horse ranch and more than likely used for various jobs on the farm.
I weighed the anvil on a house scale and it showed 110lb. I am not sure how accurate this method of weighing it was. I am starting the bidding at 9.99 and am unsure of the shipping. I will check with UPS and fed-ex and post a shipping estimate. eBays shipping estimator showed the shipping at 75$.
I recieved a message saying this was a Vulcan brand anvil not an arm & hammer brand. I really know nothing about anvils so I will leave it up to those who know. The estate papers read Arm & hammer and that is why I listed it as such.
I have had some questions about a # under the horn. This number reads 12. I will try and get a picture of this tomarrow.
I prefer a money order for this auction.
