This auction is for an antique home wall altar. · Home wall altar (Catholic, religious, shrine, sick call, last rites, viaticum set) · Wood with glass · Mary and crucified Jesus statuary · 13” wide x 23 ½” tall x 3 ½” wide; statues are around 10" tall; entire piece weighs 10 lbs. · Antique – I believe this is from the late 1890s or early 1900s · Includes crucifix · This wall altar encompasses a wood frame with Jesus and Mary statuary in shadowbox area behind painted glass (I think reverse painted). Words on glass read: Blessed Be Thy Holy Name. The bottom section has a hinged door w the crucifix is stored. On the outside of the hinged door is also glass with the Last Supper image. Also, two attached metal candle holders on each side that swivel. T is a wire on the back for hanging. The bottom section could be used to store holy water, crucifix, etc. · Very good condition but with aging and wear on wood frame and some paint gone from glass front, latch missing for hinged door to stay closed, hinged door is loose on bottom hinges and needs fixing, small piece of glass broken out of bottom left of top window (piece included) · Very rare to find these old wall altars intact with glass, hinged door, candleholders · Buyer will pay automatic shipping insurance I have more vintage items for sale so please visit my other listings. Damaged items should not be mailed back to me for the refund process. International Payments and Shipping · International shipping will be more than the stated domestic shipping cost and will always be determined after the auction has ended.
