Vintage Watt Ice Bucket in Starflower Design Up for auction is a previously owned and possibly used Watt Ice Bucket in the Starflower Design. I would say the ice bucket is in very good condition for the item's age--Probably kept on a shelf most of the time. The piece has all over crazing which is consistent with age of item. The painted starflower and leaves are vibrant in color and not faded. Item has no cracks or repairs. The chip (which appears to be a glaze pop) on the bottom edge is not visible when placed on a shelf. The small chips on the underside of the lid are not noticeable when the lid is placed on the ice bucket. Top of lid and sides of base show "pin hole sized" glaze pops which happen during firing. Bottom of ice bucket is not signed which is consistent with Watt ice buckets. Dimensions: Height (from base to top of knob handle on top) approximately 7 1/2" Diameter of lid approximately 7 7/8" - 8" Diameter of top of ice bucket approximately 7 5/8" Diameter of bottom of ice bucket approximately 4 3/4" Height of ice bucket is approximately 5 3/4" The vintage Watt Ice Bucket in the Starflower Design would be a great addition to a Watt/Yellow Ware Collection or the start of a great collection.
