WDCC Signature Series Walt Disney's Snow White Soup's On NO RESERVE This classic "Disney-that-might-have-been" moment is honored as the first in the Signature Series of sculptures. It is packaged in a gold box and includes the COA. This a Numbered Limited Edition (NLE) of 1,937. ( 969/1937). This piece is in Mint condition with no damage to sculpture - no chips or breaks. This is for the scuplture, box and COA only! The original additional material is not available. This scene was never finished beyond pencil-test form due to time constraints on Walt Disney's first full length animated feature. Instead of being forgotten, the scene developed legendary status among Disney enthusiasts, who began to call it "The Lost Soup Scene".
In the delightful scene, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs sit down for their dinner of soup, and soon the slurping and clinking turns into a song, at least until Dopey swallows his spoon. It's a tour de force of comic characterization, slapstick gags, and brilliant animation. Walt Disney never forgot the "soup scene" and presented it on his television show (still in pencil) in 1957.
