new old stock. not dated, this is made early 80's ,i guess as similar to another type gray i have seen tag dated..the hbt, refers to herring bone twill, the type of weave. also do not know exactly what was used for. this is issued 1.25" 100% cotton. approx 50-60 yards, done by a very unscientific method, of taking off a yard weighing the "yard" weighing the roll and dividing. i think is within 20% probably more but just an estimate. buy it now price without post works out to about $.22 per yard. really inexpensive if you have the use. can send outside of the usa by first class mail, not a problem, but can not track or insure first class. priority mail comes with insurance and can track, i think only on the outside of the roll is some small "rust/water stain" i think is only on the outside and does not go through
