This is a Wedgwood Jasperware Planter. This nice sized planter measures 4 1/2 inches tall by 5 inches in diameter at the top. There are several different classical scenes all around the exterior along with a beautifully detailed garland draped between many lions heads with a ring all around the circumference . The amazingly detailed and skillfully done decoration is what has made Wedgwood Jasperware so eagerly sought after and valued. Each piece is a beautiful work of art in itself! This is in perfect condition with no cracks, no breaks, no chips nor any other defects or problems. There is no discoloration, only shadows cast by the flash of my camera and my less than perfect attempts at photography! It is marked with the appropriate Wedgwood incised markings .
