I will always remember visiting my cousin Tommy. When you entered his house, to the right of the staircase, there on a wall, was a Cuckoo Clock. He would always want to show off the clock and proudly showed me how it cuckooed. As a young boy, it was like magic. I have a "new" vintage clock ready for sale now, as I sold out my previous vintage stock this summer. This clock was made in West Germany and is unmarked. West German objects by their own right have become collectible since the reunification of Germany. Trustworthy REGULA movement which will give you years of service. Like all of my clocks up for sale this is running in our house right now. It is a 24 hour model. This wooden cased clock is made of thick Linden tree wood (I hope the photos will show the thick cut). This clock features three birds, which is one of my favorite designs. All the birds have glass eyes. The bottom two have red eyes as you can see. Besides the three birds, this clock has wooden whistles, instead of plastic. This gives the cuckooing a soft melodic sound. There is a round door on the right side to access the works on the side. The bird is a beautiful blue and white cuckoo.The hands and roman numeral dial are perfect. Everything works as it should.
