A great antique Sterling pierced serving spoon manufactured by Charles Wendell Co.in the Emperor pattern . made around 1896 . the company ceases flatware production in the 1900's.It measures 7 1/2 inches long and the bowl of the spoon measures 2 1/4 inches across. it has a lovely garland of roses and other flowers inthe bowl of the spoon . this is truly a beautiful spoon to add to you sterling service.
