We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure a collectible horse bit and a pair of spurs.The spurs and horse bit have a matching wagon wheel cut out design plus a matching ribbed design on the top and bottom of the bit and spurs.The bit is a rather high port with a 5/8" brass roller.It has almost a 5 1/4" mouth.From the center of the loops w the rein goes to the start of the bit that goes into the horses mouth it is 5 1/4"(cheek measurement).From the center of w the headstall attaches to the bit to the center of the loops to w the reins attach is 7".The horse bit has a fancy engraved lip bar.W the reins attach to the end of the bit that attaches to the lip bar it has a 5/8" fancy engraved floral button on each side.On the bit part that goes in the horses mouth on the underside t are 7 lines on each side of the bit that are copper.The bit is almost like new condition.The spurs have 1 1/8" brass rowels with 10 rather blunt tines.They have chap guards and 1 7/8" long shanks.They measure 3" between the spur bands w they go on to the heel of the boot.The bottom part of the bands have slots to attach chains or leather straps to go underneath the boot if so desired.The spurs appear to be in almost new condition.They have a 1/8" thick pair of dark brown leather spur straps with buckles that are also in very excellent condition.They have read more
