A totally sound serviceable saddle that can be used on a horse, but I think it will make it's way to a collector. Maker Marked on both fenders and seat. Al Oliveras ? Olivares ? Moctezuma, SO ( I think for Sonora Mexico?) I had trouble reseraching this one - But I know someone out t is going to know what a rare gem this is! I believe this is early 1900's. The Tapaderos are WONDERFUL. The saddle is sound and was recently being used. I like the built-in bucking rollls on those swells. I usually ride a 15 1/2 or 16 saddle and this is more along the lines of a 14" but it is a fun ride! The stirrups are set for a rider with probably in the range of a 33" - 36" inseam right now. I have not cleaned it, so a few surface scrapes etc. you see will rub right off. This saddle needs nothing to be used on a horse (back cinch t, tree solid, everything tight, latigo straps supple... ) Beautiful patina on the quality leather. Leather is in VERY nice soft using condition, everything is flexible, and this is an Arizona saddle âe" so tâe(tm)s no moldy smell! (I think you will be impressed). Check out my other auctions for miscellaneous horse tack. Thanks for Looking! Terms and conditions: Please ask any questions needed to make your determination, as all sales are final. Iâe(tm)m always happy to answer questions. I will ship promptly! (I know read more
