Wick West Virginia 6" Merchant Wax Sealer Thanks for looking in on Doc's 9th Annual Christmas Sale! Up for auction is this rare 6" Wax Sealer made for W.M. STEALEY & CO., DEALERS IN GENERAL MERCHANDISE, WICK, W.VA. This little guy has a nice wide, squatty form with 5 lines of writing in very pretty blue. As you know, these little jars are very hard to find and those made for little grocers in small towns can be as hard to find as hen's teeth! These merchants simply did not have many made. Excellent Condition . A couple very minor 1/8" nibbles in the inner rim. A 1/2" ping on the bottom left that did not chip. That's it! No rim outer chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or repairs.
