Here is the most amazing engraved piece I have seen, also from the Tellico Plains Site in Tennessee. I got a good group of items from this site recently and will be listing them as time allows, there were some fine pieces found here. This is a section of a gorget or pendant, flat on the engraved side and humped on the other side, one end shows a cut line where it was cut and snapped to salvage the piece, just imagine the patience and time involved in making such a beautiful intricate design 4000 years ago!!! Imagine if you could find something like this WHOLE! Measures 1 1/2" long and no brainer age and patina and is guaranteed for life!
