On offer here an original porcelain enamel advertising sign for 'WILLS'S WOODBINE CIGARETTES' with the pictorial image of the smoking cigarette on a green background. This is the slimline version size 36" tall x 18" wide dating from approx. 1910 to 1920 period and issued by The Imperial Tobacco Company (Of Great Britain & Ireland) Limited. Some chipping to the enamel and metal loss as can be seen in the scan and the green has suffered slightly from fading, although it still has, overall a reasonable gloss finish. Plently of red still showing on the lighted cigarette end which usually has faded away on these signs.
