Click Double your traffic. Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE! This Trapper is no ordinary Trapper... It was made on the same dye as almost all of the Case Classic promotions of the early to mid 90's... Made by Blue Grass Cutlery who made the majority of this now famous and very sought after line of knives. It is from the Cartridge Series and maeasures 4 1/2" when closed not like a regular Tapper which measures 4 1/8" closed... The main blade has the Winchester Cartridge Series Made In USA blade etch but it is very hard to read.. These celluloid handles are called Candy Stripe and they are renowned to give off a gas that pits the blades.. This is called gasing and this knife has a classic case of it... Both blades have these pits from the gassing process... Again t are gassing pits on both blades which if you have been collecting or have first hand knowledge of you know t is no way to stop this process short of taking the handles off and putting new ones on... The other large blade is a spay blade and picture # 5 shows the Cartridge series 45-70 round shield...The blades both have the fancy matchstriker pulls.. Fancy because they have grooves or a jigging pattern to them which is much more extensive both in time envolved and actual work to have it done...
