The Wonder Pony Wonder Horse Rocking Spring Rocker 50s- 60s In amazing shape for its age for a toy from the 50's and 60's. Made by Wonder Products Company of Collierville, Tennessee which is credited for creating the first spring rocking horse. The side is embossed Wonder Horse and the front sticker says Wonder Pony. This sweetie has a molded plastic body that’s suspended by four strong springs from a tubular metal frame. I can't find any rust on the base or springs that is worth mentioning. There are a few scratches, scuffs, etc on the metal frame but they do not detract from the overall appearance. They don't really jump out at you. I will state that some of the minor scratches/scuffs, imperfections do have a faint hint of rusting but this is very superficial and not worth mentioning. Even the floor protectors are in very good condition! You could use the finest steel wool to sand and then spray paint the frame I wouldn't bother. Pony has some green crayon marks which should be removable. I believe this little fellow is from the 1950s - 1960s. She has excellent rocking springer bouncy bouncing action! I will take the rocker apart prior to shipping, so you will have to put it back together which will be very easy and I'll include a diagram. IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!!! No charge for shipping within the Continental United States.
