This is a wonderful vintage porcelain bowl designed by Iris Carryer for Wade, Ireland, in excellent condition. Molded porcelain, decorated with a transfer print of the Irish mythical giant Finn MacCoul and on the outside with roulette patterns including a band of shamrocks, grey blue and tan glaze under a high gloss, transparent top-glaze. This listing closes on Saturday evening (US Eastern time). Marks: Marked with: Irish Porcelain a three leafed shamrock with the letter E and Made in Ireland impressed into the clay of the base, a trademark used by the Wade (Ulster) Ltd factory in Portadown, Co Armagh, Northern Ireland. Date: Third quarter 20th century. Condition: Excellent. I can find nothing wrong with it. Shiny & clean. Light utensil marks typical of age. No crazing, cracks, hairlines, chips or repairs.
