An early we believe 16th or 17th century copper Jeton or Counter Commemorative. Measures: 29mm across at widest point. Obverse depicts a wolf or fox under a tree with a rooster on branch with lettering around. Reverse shows two tiny sailing vessels under what appears to be land or navigational points of interest with lettering around. Condition: overall wear to high spots and the reverse is double struck on lettering (see photos), partial beading on both sides. Slight difference in patina from one side to the other. A very nice counter or jeton fresh from an estate. Email with questions. No reserve.
