World Expo 2010 Shanghai Official Guidebook in English - Mint - HTF SPECIFICATIONS You're considering a copy of the Official Guidebook to Shanghai's World Expo 2010 . The Guidebook is mint and has never been opened except to take the accompanying scans. The Guidebook was sold at only one location on the Expo grounds, The Official Souvenir Center, which makes it rather difficult to come by. I don't see many of these listed for sale on eBay at any rate. The book is soft covered and 225 pages long. Like every guidebook if its kind, it is meant to be a comprehensive overview of the World's Fair for the visitor. It contains artistic renderings and descriptions of all of the pavilions and exhibits. It contains detailed maps to help with site navigation as well as subway and city maps to assist in getting to the Expo grounds in Shanghai. Unlike most Expos of the past where Guidebooks are prolific, the obscure location to obtain one of these books made it more difficult for the average Fairgoer to get one. Why Expo did this is a mystery to me. Unlike most Fairs, I certainly didn't see many Fairgoers with the guidebook in-hand at Expo. Each visitor was given a detailed map at the gate so, perhaps, Expo officials thought this would be more useful and that visitors wouldn't spring for the 25RMB price of the guidebook.
