This auction is for a World War II Japanese parade sword. The blade is in fair to good conditon and doesn't appear to be sharpened, the handle apears to be made of horn and wire wrap is in good condition, overall handle metal has a nice patina and appears to be in very good condition. The scabard shows some pitting but over all has bright finish, has a dimple on the right side as can be seen in the pictures provided. Hopefully the pictures will speak for themselves and explain any questions you might have regarding this item. The overall lenght of the sword in scabbard is 37", tip of blade to end of handle is 34" and tip of blade to handle is 29". Thank you for checking out this auction item and good luck on your bidding.
