Officially nomenclatured as Strap, Litter, M-1932 , this adjustable 1" wide heavy cotton khaki web strap was used to aid in carrying the stretcher by hooking it into the rings when worn with the M-32 Medical Suspenders, or could be worn alone. Part of the medic's basic issue, this strap will adjust out to 40" (101.6 cm) with a heavy brass 1" hook at either end. These were later replaced with a lighter hook to save an metal during the war.
