HI CHUCKY UNLIMITED M1904 Hospital Bolo Knife WW1 U.S. Hospital Bolo Knife with Scabbard - 1911 date d Your bidding on 1911 Hospital Corps Bolo Knife with Scabbard Condition overall is Very Fine Condition with some nicks, scratches on blade and handle. Belt spring hook is broken on Scabbard. The pictures tell the story and I am sure the knife could talk it would have a story. This Hospital Corps Bolo Knife is almost 100 years old. We did not clean it up, so it has not been altered in any fashion. Tfore, the winning bidder will receive it in same condition we received it. In bedded on the Scabbard: ROCK ISLAND , ARSENAL 1910. T.0.0 / 71 NY H.C. 29 US 1911 Hospital Corps Bolo Knife with Leather Scabbard is in Very Fine Condition. This Bolo includes a 12" solid thick heavy blade with a rounded end to tip. The Cross guard is a heavy brass "S" shaped guard. The walnut handles are deeply cut finger grooves with a rounded pommel and a brass cap. Overall length of this Bolo Knife is 17-5/16". Left side of blade is marked as " S.A. 1911âe. Right side of blade is marked as "U.S. 19838": Blade also includes a flaming bomb above the date. Scabbard is well made with heavy brown leather and a brass guard with a steel belt loop. Blade on the bolo shows typical age darkening with minor nicks and dings. Grips are complete and solid.
