WW2 1944 Woman's Uniform Jacket : Tag in the pocket says, " Jacket, Service, Tropical Worsted, Nurses, Dark, O.D. Size 10R" and the pattern is dated Nov. 14, 1944. This is an outfit I put together for my wife for my Bomb Squadron's Heritage Dance back in 1983 (596th BMS, 97th Bomb Wing.) The jacket and the "Photographer" armband are 100% original. The captain's bars are USAF 80s vintage. The shirt is Marine. The cap is Army. The collar brass is anybody's guess. The slacks are not even military, but the color is very close to WWII "pink." But taken all together, it is a convincing outfit. Both the jacket and slacks are 10R. The model in the pictures is 5'9" and 129, and as you can tell, the jacket is tight. T are a couple of small moth holes on the lower right front (see last picture), and one tiny one on the upper back. For US buyers, I accept PayPal. MOs or checks. PayPal ships immediately, but all checks and some MOs must clear my bank before I ship. I welcome international bidders, but PayPal is the only accepted mode of international payment. Also be aware that shipment to international locations is more expensive and amounts vary by country. If an international bidder wins this item, I will have to check the shipping costs before I can come up with a total amount. Please be patient--this is only a hobby for me. Please take read more
