WW2 KINFOLKS CUTLERY COMPANY U.S. M-3 GUARD MARKED TRENCH KNIFE . This rather scarce fighting knife can be found in Cole's Book 3, on page 97, #16. The blade is unsharpened, and has only the factory original edge. It also retains virtually all of it's original factory parkerized finish. There are not even any signs of scabbard wear. The guard and handle are near mint as is the pommel, and it's tight. Also included is a correct and high grade M-8 scabbard w/belt hook. With Coniglio's eagerly awaited new book on M-3's coming out soon there should be much new interest in M-3's and the subsquent rise is values of individual knives as well. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This fine example comes from my personal collection that I'm forced to sell to help finance new acquisitions. Those that know me know I'm very picky about the knives that I buy/sell/collect. I strive for only the finest quality, condition, rarity. In 30+ years of collecting and investing in high grade Allied Military Fighting & Pocket Knives, they have performed as well or better than many other investments out there. Hard to go wrong when knives I used to buy for $100-$150 are now $400+. They aren't going down anytime soon either! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ read more
