Up for auction is an extremely nice, MINTY, example of a High Pressure M1 Helmet liner. Westinghouse Electric Company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, manufactured it. An embossed “W” inside a circle, located inside on the crown, identifies this liner. This company started to delivery liners to the government approximately in May 1942 and ended their shipments by Aug of 1945. If you are a collector looking for specific manufacturer, then this example of a Westinghouse liner is for you, you will see in the photo's, this liner is complete with all attachments. Everything is in great shape for the age of this liner. The only issue is with the CHIN STRAP, it has some minor cracking. the sweatband is unused and has green attaching hardware. This liner appears to retain its original paint with minor scuffing and staining, due to storage. The interior is very nice; it's HBT webbing is all in tack with no staining. This liner is I believe in un-used/un-issued condition. I do not ship internationally; however, I would consider, but please contact me first before bidding. Thanks for looking at a piece of U.S. Military History
