Up for bid is an original WW2 US fighting knife made from a Garand bayonet in very good condition. Its sharpened 6 and 1⁄4 inch blade is marked KUTMASTER UTICA, N.Y. U.S.A. Blade has some dark patina spots and pitting spots on one side with minor pitting on its obverse. Handle metal has dark patina and oxidation spots. Black plastic grips, affixed with a single screw, have no cracks, have some minor scratches, and have some paint stains. Brown leather scabbard is in average condition with some rust to its rivets and some moisture dark spots. Scabbard also has some holes in its tip and blade edge damage. Customers in the USA will pay $8.00 shipping and insurance. Please do not bid if edged weapons are a customs restriction in your country, unless you would like the item shipped to a contact in another country. This bayonet cannot be shipped to Japan, Russia or Italy due to customs restrictions. International buyers, please contact me after the auction for shipping costs.
