This auction is for one (1) pair of WWII British Pattern 1941 Flying Boots in good used condition, size English 8, about 8-1/2 US. This is the style of boots as used by the Spitfire, and Hurricane fighter pilots in WWII. The soles and heals show some moderate wear, as they should, as used boots. The original owner shortened the tabs on the ankle straps so they would not foul with anything while flying the plane. The fleece lining is in very good condition, as is the suede outer. The rubber "goulash" around the lower part of the boot is soft, and pliable, with no cracking. These boots are becoming rare, as the British changed design late in the war, and again after the war. Don't miss this chance to own a real part of British Aviation History.I acceptIn the US these boots will be shipped by USPS Priority Mail for a cost of $25.10. International shipping will be calculated on a shipping weight of 8 pounds, or approximately 3.5 Kgs. International customs declaration value will be declared in the amount of the winning bid.WWII RAF pilot flying boots fighter plane bomber Battle of Britain ace
