WWII Era German Leather Shoulder Holster for the Sauer Model 38(H) Pistol Up for Auction is a WWII Era German Leather Shoulder Holster for the Sauer Model 38(H) Pistol . T are no markings on this holster. This is a high quality leather holster, that is in Very Good Condition. The leather is a dark brown "pebble texture" design. It is soft and supple. The stiching is all intact and not fraying. All of the rivets are tight. The straps are in Very Good Condition with only a few surface cracks near the buckles. The holster has darkened with age, but still retains the rich dark brown color. This is a High Quality Leather Holster that deserves to be in a WWII German Collection. Look closely at the photos. During WWII the German Government did not mass produce shoulder holsters for general distribution to their troops. Company and Battalion level Commanders would contract with local leather shops in Germany and Occupied Europe to make should holsters to meet the needs of the troops under their command. I believe this is such a holster. This holster may also fit the Mauser HSc Pistol. It is a similar sized pistol as the Sauer. But, unfortuantely, I don't have one to try in the holster. My Sauer fit like a glove. This would be a welcomed addition to any WWII Collection. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS ARE WELCOMED!!! Please see photos. Please read more
